All of my counselling work is confidential. This means that everything disclosed to me is not disclosed elsewhere. The only exception to this would be if I am made aware of a significant risk of harm to you or another person(s), or a child protection issue. If such a situation arises I will make every effort to work with you on the matter.
Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) from 2005. As such I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the professional conduct procedure therein. (BACP)

As required by BACP Ethical Framework I meet regularly with my supervisor who has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. They are qualified to supervise Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Psychologists. These meetings ensure that I am working within ethical boundaries. I may occasionally discuss aspects of the work I am doing with you with my supervisor - but your name will never be disclosed nor any other identifying information.
